From April 12 to 14, the Millionaire Concept platform hosted a three-day international event called “The Globe Gala” at the Four Seasons Hotel. On the final evening — April 14 — participants from the worlds of fashion and business were awarded in various categories. Among them was Afghanistan’s most renowned singer, Aryana Sayeed. It’s worth noting that Millionaire Concept is an international award platform that brings together influential figures from the world of business.
Aryana Sayeed was born in Kabul. As a child, she moved with her family to Pakistan, then to Switzerland. After living in London for a while, she currently resides in Istanbul. Aryana is a multifaceted individual and is regarded as one of the most prominent advocates for women’s rights. She has tirelessly campaigned for women’s freedom, access to education, and equality for many years. Her influence extends far beyond the stage — she has become a global voice and symbol for women.
Aryana’s music is primarily pop, but she creatively blends traditional Afghan musical elements with modern rhythms. Over the years, she has served as a judge and mentor on programs such as Afghan Star, Afghan Superstar, and The Voice Afghanistan. She has also delivered keynote speeches at events held by the European Parliament, UNESCO, and NATO in London. Aryana made history as the first Afghan artist to appear on MTV World.
In the span of 15 years, she has performed in over 300 concerts across the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, France, Turkey, and other countries. She has received numerous awards, including “Best Female Singer,” “Best Live Performance,” “Best Song,” “Best Music Video,” the “Courage Award” (Afghan Music Institute, Ministry of Education, PEN Afghanistan), “Voice of Afghan Women,” “Influential Female Artist,” and the title of “Goodwill Ambassador for Peace and Women’s Rights.”
For her relentless efforts toward the freedom of women and girls, Aryana was honored with the International Freedom Award. As part of her social and charitable initiatives, she has participated in cancer awareness campaigns and provided assistance to over 400 families during the COVID-19 pandemic. She founded the non-profit Aryana Care Foundation and also established the Aryana Football Club. To further champion women’s rights, she created the international organization DEFAW (Defenders of Equality, Freedom and Advancement for Women).
In recognition of her work and successful career, Aryana Sayeed received the “Voice of Change Award” on April 14, 2025, at The Globe Gala event.
