Kamilla Mamedzade, one of Azerbaijan's young and promising talents, has not only achieved success on a national level but also on an international stage. A student of the MYP (Middle Years Programme) at an international IB school, Kamilla proudly represented Azerbaijan in the Owlypia International Competition held in the United Kingdom. The MYP program promotes the intellectual and personal development of students.
Within this framework, Kamilla distinguished herself with her academic knowledge and social skills during the competition. Participating in the Global Round held in Cambridge, Kamilla and other students competed under the guidance of their Humanities teacher, Gulana Aliyeva, excelling in various categories, including knowledge, essay writing, and debate competitions.
Kamilla earned two silver medals in the academic segment of the competition. These achievements not only affirmed her talent on the international stage but also contributed significantly to her team’s success. However, Kamilla's accomplishments did not stop there. Showcasing her musical talent, Kamilla also stood out by raising the Azerbaijani flag on the Cambridge stage , representing her country’s culture with pride. Her performance was highly praised by both participants and the jury.
The school team secured major victories, winning two trophies, eight gold medals, four silver medals, and nine bronze medals. Kamilla's success in both academic and creative fields highlights her potential to reach even greater heights in the future.
