Gular Mammadova is currently studying at ADA University’s School of Public and International Affairs. At the same time, she is engaged in the field of art, and painting has become an inseparable part of her life. Her passion for drawing began in childhood. When she first started drawing random pictures with colored pencils, she realized that art was the best way to express her thoughts. Over time, this interest grew and turned into a serious pursuit.
The main reason that drives her to painting is the desire to reflect the world she sees onto the canvas. The beauty of nature, human emotions, and the uniqueness of the surrounding world inspire her artwork. For Gular Mammadova, painting is not just a hobby but also one of the strongest ways to find inner harmony and express her emotions. In each of her works, she strives to convey her feelings and thoughts. This process is both soothing and inspiring for her, allowing her to create a unique world of her own.
It is worth noting that Gular has participated in various exhibitions and achieved significant success. She has won first place in multiple competitions and has organized solo exhibitions. On May 21, 2024, she held a solo exhibition at Baku Modern Educational Complex. In the same year, she participated in the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”exhibition in Spain, where she presented her artistic perspective on environmental issues. This exhibition provided her with valuable experience in artistic expression and an opportunity to exchange ideas with international artists on ecological topics.
Most recently, on January 24, 2025, she took part in the international exhibition “Art of Cultural Diplomacy – Art for Peace” at Medina Art Gallery in Rome, Italy. This exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Italy, the Azerbaijan Cultural Center under the Embassy, and the “Dirçəliş” Social-Psychological Rehabilitation Center for Youth. The event contributed to strengthening cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Italy and promoting peace messages through art.
